Through the end of September, the total investment for provincial key projects in Zhongshan reached 23.49 billion yuan, 102.5% of the 2020 investment target. Zhongshan has achieved the annual investment target one quarter ahead of schedule. The total investment for municipal key projects reached 37.77 billion yuan, reaching 80.2% of the goal.

In 2020, a total of 120 new projects in Zhongshan have been included into the annual key project construction plan. By the end of September, 83 projects have started.

The construction of key transportation projects goes well, with a total investment of 17.49 billion yuan 92.0% of the annual goal; the total investment for key municipal infrastructure projects (including water treatment projects under the responsibility of the Zhongshan Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau) has reached 3.69 billion yuan, 89.7% of the goal; the total investment for key industrial projects has reached 7.45 billion yuan, 62.6% of the goal; the total investment for key water treatment (under the responsibility of Zhongshan Water Supplies Bureau) projects has reached 230 million yuan, 28.7% of the goal.

The total investment for key projects in 25 towns and sub-districts has reached 15.71 billion yuan in total, 67.8% of the goal. Tsuihang New District, Shiqi District, Xiaolan Town and Nantou Town have completed over 1 billion yuan of key project investment respectively.
