The 2020 Asia-Pacific Smart City Gala was recently held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. Zhongshan's Tsuihang New District (THND) was presented the "China Leading Smart City 2020" award for its innovation in the construction of a modern city utilizing smart technologies and innovative measures.

THND was selected for the National Smart City Pilot List in 2013 and has built a fresh, integrated style of smart city in recent years. At present, THND has carried out a series of construction work of intelligent application projects, including a smart patrol system that uses AI-driven UAV technology to conduct analysis of road conditions through intelligent video analysis.
