The 2020 China Shower Room Industry Summit opened in Fusha Town, Zhongshan on December 8. More than 500 enterprise and industry representatives from 5 major shower room producing areas including Zhongshan, Foshan, Xiaoshan, Ningbo and Chaozhou attended the summit.

At the opening ceremony, the Fusha People's Government signed a contract with Zhongshan Polytechnic and Zhongshan Torch Polytechnic to jointly build an industry-university integration base. The Zhongshan Bathroom Industry Association (ZSBIA) signed agreements with the Zhongshan branches of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, and China Everbright Bank for a total credit amount of over 10 billion yuan.

Experts, scholars and industry leaders delivered keynote speeches on development trends in the bathroom industry and other topics and discussed the latest industry developments with representatives of enterprises in the industry from December 8 to 9.

Zhongshan's bathroom industry accounts for more than 70% of China's mid-to-high end bathroom market and 40% of the national industry export value. At present, there are more than 230 bathroom manufacturers and more than 150 core supporting enterprises in Zhongshan that form an industrial cluster worth over 10 billion yuan integrating R&D, production, and sales. Zhongshan is the only prefecture-level city to be recognized as a national shower room product manufacturing base.
