The 2020 Zhongshan Digital Economy Development Forum was held on December 11 with the theme of "High Quality Development and Restructuring of the Digital Economy".

Industry experts, well-known scholars and business representatives were invited to the meeting to conduct discussions on such issues as artificial intelligence, Internet infrastructure, digital home appliances, 5G industry applications and network security.

The "Zhongshan Industrial Internet Platform", based on the national dual-platform Cloudiip technical framework of BONC, was launched at the forum.

The Zhongshan municipal government signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Chinasoft International Ltd to build the JointForce (West Pearl River Delta) Emerging Economy Innovation Base and the Harmony IoT Joint Innovation Center.

Additionally, the Zhongshan Bureau of Industry and Information Technology signed strategic agreements with Zhongshan branches of China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom to fully support the promotion of new infrastructure.
