The Zhongshan Intellectual Property Rights Protection platform was recently launched, providing high-level internet-based intellectual property rights protection for enterprises in Zhongshan.

The platform collects data on and protects speical industries, time-honored brands and popular brands in Zhongshan. It protects commodities through setting brand keywords, regions, prices, sales volume, enigmatic language markers and other conditions, and uses the infringement risk model to calculate the risk index for the selected commodities. By doing this, it can discover trademarks and copycat online shops in time and protect key trademarks and brands, providing high-level internet-based intellectual property rights protection for enterprises in Zhongshan.

So far, the database of this platform has covered products from 186 key enterprises and 3 geographical locations. Information of a total of 14,939 key enterprise trademarks, 33,037 key enterprise patents, 603 key enterprise commodity lists, 592 key enterprise white lists, 94 key enterprise online stores, and 375 key enterprise independent websites have been collected in the database. Some 5,408 sources are being monitored , providing important clues for investigation and punishment of illegal network operations.
