Guests from the Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau were invited to the Friday's Voice of People program to communicate with citizens on the morning of December 25.

Zhongshan has identified 64 headquarter enterprises in 2020, including 23 companies listed domestically and overseas. The operating income of headquarter enterprises and their subordinate companies in Zhongshan in 2019 was 175.6 billion yuan, and their total tax was 7.74 billion yuan.

There were 18 headquarter enterprises with a total tax of over 100 million yuan, including 15 industrial enterprises and 3 service enterprises. There were 24 enterprises with an operating income exceeding 2 billion yuan in 2019, including 2 with an operating income exceeding 10 billion yuan, Thyssen Elevator and Zhongshan TCL Air Conditioning.

Zhongshan has launched many supportive policies to promote the development of the headquarters economy. In terms of enterprise establishment, the maximum reward was 50% of the local contributions made in the previous year, 100 million yuan top.
