Contracts for many key projects in East District are planned to be signed on site at the upcoming Zhongshan Trade, Investment and Talent Networking Fair. Specifically, the TFG Zhongshan 108 International Finance Center, which will be built in Qijiang New Town, has attracted much attention.

The project covers a total area of more than 250,000 square meters and has a total investment of about 6 billion yuan. It is planned to be completed in 2029.

Most notably, a 498-meter high-rise building with 108 floors will be built. Upon completion, it will become the third tallest skyscraper in Guangdong Province, next only to Shenzhen's Ping An International Finance Center (599.1 meters) and Guangzhou's CTF Finance Center (530 meters). It will also become the tallest building not only in Zhongshan, but even on entire west bank of the Pearl River.

The project aims to construct an innovative commercial complex and a popular travel destination.

Moreover, modern service industry clusters covering finance, insurance and other industries will be introduced. The project will also be built into a science and technology innovation headquarters hub of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
