The 2021 Zhongshan-Israel innovation Roundtable jointly sponsored by the Zhongshan Bureau of Foreign Affairs, Zhongshan Bureau of Commerce and Consulate General of Israel in Guangzhou was held in Zhongshan on March 23.

Lei Yuelong, vice mayor of Zhongshan, and Peleg Lewi, consul general of Israel in Guangzhou, introduced the economic and social development of Zhongshan and Israel respectively. Both hoped for continued joint development in fields of biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing and others. They moved to actively introduce investment from Israel and strengthen cooperation between Israeli universities and Zhongshan to further promote discussions and cooperation regarding the economy and trade, science and technology, culture and etc between the two places.

At the symposium, IsCham China, Israeli enterprises EWA and O3 Care, Shenzhen-Israel Consulting Co Ltd, the China-Israel Fund and other relevant Israeli institutions and enterprises introduced their enterprises and expressed intentions for cooperation to representatives of relevant departments and enterprises in Zhongshan. There were also communications with Zhongshan's various enterprises.
