The 2021 Zhongshan Trade and Investment Fair and Zhongshan Top Talent Networking Fair will be held as planned on March 28, with the theme of "New Ideas, New Patterns, New Journeys".

As of March 22, a total of 73 projects, with an investment of over 44 billion yuan, have been confirmed. Among them, 42 projects involving scientific innovation platforms, the health and medicine industry, the information technology industry, the service industry, high-end equipment manufacturing and local enterprise transformation, with a total investment of over 30 billion yuan, will be signed on stage during the opening ceremony.

For this year's event, Zhongshan's regional strengths and business environment will be introduced to guests and mainstream media at home and abroad through such activities as keynote speeches, investment promotion meetings, experience sharing sessions and project signings. Meanwhile, aiming at attracting innovation and gathering talented persons, Zhongshan will take this opportunity to invite businessmen at home and abroad to jointly build a more vibrant Greater Bay Area. 

On March 28, at the main venue, there will be an opening ceremony held in the morning and the "Zhongshan & Hong Kong Health and Pharmaceutical Industry Forum" in the afternoon. A sub-venue will be set up for the Forum in Hong Kong for the first time, with simultaneous interpretation and global live broadcast.

In addition, 30 activities will be held in the sub-venues across Zhongshan, including 21 talent recruitment activities, 8 trade and investment activities, and 2 all-encompassing activities.

During the event, the Zhongshan Greater Bay Area International Talent Port will start construction. In the first phase, emphasis will be laid on establishing an international talent service center, gathering innovative and entrepreneurial supporting institutions, and building an improved service system for talent.
