According to the "Monthly Report on Urban Credit Monitoring" released in April, Zhongshan ranked 23rd among 261 prefecture-level cities nationwide and 2nd in Guangdong in terms of the urban credit rating.

At present, Zhongshan has been shortlisted as one of the third national social credit system model cities.

In recent years, Zhongshan has issued 155 documents relating to credit, forming a comprehensive credit system at different levels and in different areas.

Zhongshan has also taken the lead in Guangdong to develop the "Xinyibao" electronic guarantee platform. It has saved more than 7.7 billion yuan in bid bonds for bidding enterprises since its launch on October 1, 2020, which greatly reduces transaction costs of enterprises.
