The first appliance quality testing and R&D center of China Resources Gas (CR Gas) was unveiled on October 9 in Torch Development Zone, aiming to better serve 42 million users nationwide.

With a construction area of 1,800 square meters, the CR Gas Quality Testing and R&D Center has 9 functional areas for gas appliance energy efficiency experiment, spray test, reliability test, innovative R&D, etc. It is furnished with cutting-edge gas testing systems and equipment for testing the performance of its brand products and such other products as bellows, shut-off valves and gas alarms in various environments.

The center is also equipped with a display and live broadcast hall to provide users with experience on CR Gas' advanced technologies and products as well as gas safety and kitchen solutions.

The opening ceremony of the cooperation bases between CR Gas and Zhongshan Polytechnic was also held on the same day.
