Guo Wenhai, secretary of the Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee, on November 5 presided over a symposium for foreign-funded enterprises, to listen to their difficulties in the operation and development as well as their suggestions for improving Zhongshan's business environment and high-quality development.

At the meeting, representatives of over 20 foreign-funded enterprises shared their opinions. Guo Wenhai responded to their concerns and urged relevant departments to sort out, study and follow up the problems.

Guo Wenhai hoped that entrepreneurs would seize this historic opportunity and discuss with the Zhongshan authorities on how to promote intensive and efficient land use and make enough industrial space to prepare for the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, speed upenterprises' scientific and technological innovation, digitalization and intelligent technology capabilities, as well as expedite the establishment, increase capital gains and expand production of enterprises in Zhongshan.
