A special event on tax and administrative fee reduction was held for headquarter enterprises by the Zhongshan Headquarters Economy Development Leading Group Office and the Zhongshan Taxation Bureau on November 10.

The event was held live online, and over 1,000 people, including representatives of over 100 headquarter enterprises and potential headquarter enterprises and government officials from towns and districts watched the live policy interpretation.

Since the implementatio of new headquarters economic policy, 64 companies have been recognized as headquarter enterprises in Zhongshan in 2020. The total operating income of these headquarter enterprises and their auxiliary businesses in Zhongshan was close to 200 billion yuan in 2020 and their total tax revenue reached about 7 billion yuan. It is estimated that the number of headquarter enterprises in Zhongshan will exceed 70 this year.

In the first half of the year, the Zhongshan Headquarters Economy Development Leading Group Office visited some headquarter enterprises and learned about the problems they faced and their concerns.
