Guo Wenhai, secretary of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, went to Guangdong Homa Refrigerator Co Ltd in Nantou Town on February 8 to congratulate Homa on exceeding 10 billion yuan in operating income last year and to award the company a bonus of 10 million yuan on behalf of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee and the municipal government.

As the largest refrigerator ODM production company in the world, Homa has been the top refrigerator exporter in China for 13 consecutive years. In a visit at the end of last year, Guo Wenhai encouraged the company to speed up production to achieve an operating income of over 10 billion yuan and promised to come congratulate the enterprise when the goal was achieved.

Living up to expectations, Homa's operating income exceeded 10.1 billion yuan in 2021, up 17% year on year, exceeding 10 billion yuan for the first time. Its taxes paid stood at 550 million yuan.

Guo Wenhai hoped that enterprises in Zhongshan would learn from Homa and turn pressure into a driving force, propelling the manufacturing industry, innovation and personal achievement, and seize new development opportunities to grow bigger and stronger.
