Sanjiao Town has been advancing old building and industrial park renovation to realize full potential of land utilization and promote the upgrade of traditional industries. As of March 13, Sanjiao has introduced 8 "existing land investment promotion" projects, with a total investment of 4.7 billion yuan and an area of about 664 mu (about 44.3 hectares). These include Zhongsheng Environmental Remediation and other under construction enterprises worth over 100 million yuan, and their new output value is expected to exceed 6.8 billion yuan.

Zhongsheng Environmental Remediation's Plasma Gasification and Melting project that was signed to settle in Sanjiao Town at the 2021 Zhongshan Trade and Investment Fair covers an area of 35.2 mu (about 2.35 hectares), with an investment of about 330 million yuan. This project will be completed in June this year and put into production in September. Plasma gasification and melting technology will be used to facilitate the safe disposal of 50,000 tons of hazardous industrial waste per year. This project has an estimated annual output value of 230 million yuan and an annual tax revenue of over 20 million yuan.

"Zhongsheng Environmental Remediation will sign the phase two expansion project with Sanjiao Town this year. Covering a land area of about 48 mu (about 3.2 hectares) and with a total investment of 320 million yuan, the phase two expansion project can bring in an annual output value of 650 million yuan and an annual tax revenue of 32 million yuan," said the head of the company.

Since the start of the rural inefficient industrial park renovation campaign in 2021, Sanjiao Town has set up a special team which is responsible for the renovation of such five industrial areas as the electroplating zone, the Yinma Dyeing Factory area, the Panlong Industrial Park, the Well Dyeing Factory area, and the Jinli Industrial Park. Up to 4,500 mu (300 hectares) of land will be transformed according to the planning.
