Ni Xiaoping, deputy secretary of the CPC committee and mayor of Banfu Town, Zhou Liduan, member of the CPC committee and deputy mayor of Banfu Town, and Chen Guofu, director of the Banfu Bureau of Economic Development, Science and Technology and Statistics, were invited to a regular Friday program "Voice of the People" on the morning of March 18 to interact with citizens on such topics as economic and social development, construction of the intelligent manufacturing equipment park, investment promotion, water pollution treatment and industrial park renovation.

In 2021, Banfu's major economic indicators improved steadily. Its GDP reached 5.78 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.3%, and its added value of industrial enterprises above designated size was 2.37 billion yuan, an increase of 13.5%. The retail sales of consumer goods reached 2.6 billion yuan, an increase of 10.7%.

Banfu Town plans to build three industrial parks over 1,000 mu and four over hundred mu in size. At least 375 mu of inefficient industrial parks will be demolished this year, and at least 800 mu will be renovated.

In terms of investment promotion, Banfu plans to sign contracts for 18 projects at this year's trade and investment fair of Zhongshan, including at least 10 projects with an investment of more than 100 million yuan each.
