Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province announced the 2021 National High-tech Enterprises List. A total of 844 enterprises in Zhongshan including Mingyang Smart Energy Group Co Ltd made the list, an increase of 11.1% year-on-year. There are now a total of 2,294 high-level enterprises in Zhongshan, still fifth in Guangdong Province.

In 2021, the Zhongshan Bureau of Science and Technology continuously improved its services and carried out special activities to better serve high-tech enterprises, with over 2,500 enterprises being served throughout the year.
