Guo Wenhai, secretary of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, met with leaders of the GBA Coordinated Industrial Development Federation and Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce as well as entrepreneurs from Shenzhen on the evening of May 26. He introduced Zhongshan's business environment and investment opportunities, and both sides exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Guo Wenhai said that Zhongshan is embracing historical opportunities brought about by the construction of the Greater Bay Area, the Shenzhen Demonstration Zone of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and the Hengqin and Qianhai cooperation zones. He specifically mentioned the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge that will soon be completed and open to traffic, and the urban integration trends with neighboring cities such as Shenzhen. Zhongshan firmly regards business environment optimization as the most important aspect of its reforms, cares for entrepreneurs and enterprises, and promotes deep integration and development between Shenzhen and Zhongshan.

Before the meeting, the visiting entrepreneurs also went to Gangkou Town, Shiqi District, Tsuihang New District and Torch Development Zone to observe Zhongshan's business environment, industrial planning and regional construction efforts.
