The ground-breaking ceremony of the Zhongshan Huilijin Science and Technology Park, another industrial park renovation project in Nantou Town, was held on the morning of June 8. It is the third project in the town this year.

Before renovation, the park had an annual output value of 80 million yuan and an annual tax revenue of 5 million yuan. It will cover a total construction area of at least 140,000 square meters. The renovation will be divided into three phases, and the first phase will cover a construction area of over 42,000 square meters.

The land owner Zhongshan Huilijin Science and Technology Park Co Ltd plans to invest 500 million yuan to build quality factories and attract enterprises in such sectors as smart home appliance manufacturing, high-end equipment manufacturing, robotics, electronic information technology, new material and new energy among others. After renovation, the park's annual output value will reach 400 million yuan, and the annual tax revenue will be about 20 million yuan.

Huilijin is a high-growth key enterprise in Nantou Town. Over the past 12 years, they have achieved an aggregate output value of about 1.2 billion yuan and generated a total tax revenue of nearly 40 million yuan.
