This power company is a professional gas-fueled thermal power plant, which was identified by the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission in 2015 as the only heating source in the northern part of Zhongshan. It is also among the 85 enterprises with carbon allowance in Guangdong Province. It can per year generate up to 1.3 billion kWh of electricity and 400,000 tons of heat supply.

"Guide banking institutions to launch green rights assets-based financing mortgage credit products by combining movable property financing registration and the construction of MSMEs credit system is a good method to meet enterprises' financing demands in the pursuit of green development," said an executive of the Zhongshan Central Sub-branch of the People's Bank of China.
