The Zhongshan Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Technology Alliance was unveiled on September 23 in Zhongshan's Tsuihang New District.

The Alliance will drive Zhongshan to develop into a competitive R&D and production base and a demonstration zone of multi-scenario application of key hydrogen energy materials and equipment as well a hydrogen energy industrial cluster in China.

Tsuihang New District is currently home to a number of major hydrogen energy enterprises including Sinoscience Fullcryo, Broad-Ocean Motor and CNOOC Guangdong. It has formed an initial industry chain of the production of hydrogen cells. New energy-related industries have developed in Hengmen area and have been included into the Zhongshan Clean Energy and Intelligent Equipment Industrial Park construction.

A seminar was held on the same day, during which the Zhongshan Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Technology Alliance signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with the Shenzhen Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Association, Zhongshan Xiwan Investment Holding Development Co Ltd and Hengbang Capital.
