Since the beginning of this year, Jianglong Shipbuilding and Aulong Shipbuilding have successively signed contracts with the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for a new 30-meter firefighting vessel with a contract value of HKD 92.1532 million and a batch of aluminum alloy ocean cleaning ships with a contract value of HKD 178 million (about 157 million yuan), laying a foundation for Jianglong Shipbuilding to further tap into the Hong Kong and Macao markets.
Headquartered in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Jianglong Shipbuilding has been exploring the Hong Kong and Macao markets in recent years. The company has built two 35-meter patrol boats for the Macao Customs Service, which have been used for various purposes such as maritime patrol, smuggling enforcement, emergency rescue, etc. In addition, these two boats have played an important role in security for major events such as the opening ceremony of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
In November 2020, a batch of all-aluminum alloy speedboats Jianglong Shipbuilding built for the Hong Kong Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department were successfully delivered. These boats are critical for protecting Hong Kong's fishery resources and the aquatic environment. Jianglong Shipbuilding has also built several sightseeing boats for Hong Kong including the HK Water Taxi.
