Sanhua's manufacturing base for new energy vehicle (NEV) thermal management parts broke ground at Zhongshan Intelligent Home Appliances Industrial Park (Huangpu Port) on April 2.

The project has a planned area of 315 mu and a total investment of about 3 billion yuan from Zhejiang Sanhua Automotive Components Co Ltd. The construction of the Phase 1 plant will be completed in late 2024 and mass production will be realized in 2025. The project is expected to generate an annual output value of 5 billion yuan at its full capacity, thus becoming an important manufacturing and logistics center for Sanhua's thermal management parts for new energy vehicles worldwide.

Founded in Xinchang, Zhejiang Province in 1984, Sanhua Holding Group is a world leader in HVAC, home appliances and automotive control components, as well as one of China's top 500 manufacturers. To better serve customers in South China, Zhejiang Sanhua Automotive Components Co Ltd, a key auto parts manufacturer under Sanhua Holding Group, has invested to build a manufacturing base for new energy vehicle parts in Zhongshan.
