A delegation of Torch Development Zone headed to France and Germany from July 16 to 23 on an investment promotion tour.

In the 8-day trip, the TDZ delegation, with a focus on the health and medicine sector, visited 7 institutions, organized 2 investment promotion conferences and 5 project negotiation fairs, and signed 6 agreements.

On the afternoon of July 17 local time, TDZ held a promotion conference for the biomedical industry in Paris, at which more than 50 French biotech entrepreneurs and France-based Chinese experts communicated with their business partners from Zhongshan face to face.

TDZ concluded initial investment agreements with French innovation teams and enterprises on introducing nano oncotherapy, phototherapy needle and other R&D and industrialization projects.

On July 20 local time, the TDZ delegation held another promotion conference in Berlin, which attracted nearly 70 German entrepreneurs and Germany-based Chinese experts and scholars.

TDZ and the Europe-China Science and Technology Association reached a cooperative agreement on the commercialization of industrial projects and talent introduction, and signed initial investment agreements with some outstanding German enterprises.
