Construction of the Guzhen Energy Storage Power Station, a 150MW/300MWh independent energy storage power project located in Guzhen Town's Caosan Business Park began on March 8.

This project is jointly developed by SPIC Zhongshan and Guangxi Jinmiaosong Environmental Protection Group. It occupies an area of 29.16 mu with a planned investment totaling about 400 million yuan and an expected annual power output over 120 million kWh.

Last November, Guzhen Town launched the Zhongbao new energy project with a total investment of 500 million yuan, which is estimated to achieve an annual output value of 1 billion yuan. A photovoltaic module factory, with an annual output of 8 million watts, and a manufacturing plant for lithium battery smart energy storage equipment, with an annual output of 1 GWh, will be built.
