The South China Modern Chinese Medicine City has been recently recognized as a provincial industrial park and named "Guangdong Zhongshan Nanlang Industrial Park".

South China Modern Chinese Medicine City has been dedicated to the development of the health medicine industry all the time, and it is now home to nearly 300 enterprises.

Enterprises in the park include Sinopharm Zhongshan, Perfect, Wanhan, Longfu and Sinotau, forming a comprehensive healthcare industry cluster covering multiple fields. It has forged a complete industrial chain from product development, registration and certification to raw material production, product manufacturing, inspection and testing, then to design and packaging, e-commerce logistics and marketing.

South China Modern Chinese Medicine City has seven sub-projects, including the major projects of production and R&D and logistics, as well as the support projects of TCM materials planting, clinical trials, professional education and health maintenance tourism.

Phase 1 of the South China Modern Chinese Medicine City provides centralized heating and achieves rainwater-sewage diversion and up-to-standard discharge. Phase 2 that covers a land area of 2,300 mu is progressing with land preparation and industry and spatial planning.
