The Sanmei metal composite high-tech material production base, one of Zhongshan's key projects, broke ground in Sanjiao Town on March 24.

Zhongshan Sanmei High-tech Material Technology Co is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production and sales of metal composite strip materials. It masters core technologies for manufacturing composite materials and precious metals and possesses numerous independent intellectual property rights.

With a total investment of 370 million yuan, the project covers a land area of 22,036 square meters. It is expected to produce 12,000 tons of precision copper composite materials, 6,000 tons of precision copper-nickel composite materials, 10,000 tons of precision nickel composite materials, 130 million units of battery cases, 50 million key automotive parts and 35 million precision electronic and electrical accessories per year.
