Consuls general of multiple countries in Guangzhou attended the 2024 Zhongshan Global Investment Promotion Conference on July 30. Yamileth Ye Li, Consul General of Panama in Guangzhou, expressed high recognition for Zhongshan's high-quality development.

According to Yamileth Ye Li, Panama is one of the three countries worldwide with negative carbon emissions and places great importance on environmental protection. Zhongshan has achieved remarkable results in the development of green and new energy industries in recent years. She believed that Zhongshan has excellent experience that Panama could learn from, in particular in such fields as new energy, new energy vehicles and new energy batteries.

This year, Panama hosts specialty coffee exhibitions, and most of the participating buyers are from China, with many of them from Guangdong Province. Yamileth Ye Li hoped to continuously expand the cooperation in the coffee industry between Panama and Guangdong including Zhongshan.
