The launch ceremony of the Greater Bay Industry Innovation Design Alliance was held in Cuiheng New District on September 29, as the Phase I of D+M Bay Area Design Industry Port was topped out.

About 300 representatives from universities, research institutes, as well as from well-known enterprises, institutions and social organizations in such areas as internet, traditional manufacturing, import and export trading, finance and new energy attended the event to discuss design empowering industry innovation and sustainable development.

The D+M Bay Area Design Industry Port is located on Ma'an Island, just one kilometer away from the first exit of the ShenZhong Link, with a total construction area of over 200,000 square meters.

It will become a multifunctional M1 industrial hub for design innovation industry cluster, design industry public services, R&D and supply chain integration, production-research integration design empowerment, production-education integration talent cultivation and industrial investment, financing and supporting services, a headquarters, R&D and exhibition center, and an intelligent manufacturing innovation base.

The Greater Bay Industry Innovation Design Alliance was launched on that day, and eighteen outstanding enterprises across the GBA, including Matiz and Hitop, signed contracts to settle in the D+M Bay Area Design Industry Port.
