The groundbreaking ceremony of the Pearl River Beer Zhongshan expansion project was held in the Torch Development Zone on November 14.

With a total investment of 932 million yuan and an additional brewing capacity of 300,000 tons, the project includes building a new production line that can produce 72,000 cans of beer per hour and upgrading the existing bottling production lines. It is scheduled to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2025.

The project will become a comprehensive production base of manufacturing all categories of Pearl River Beer products within the Pearl River Delta region.

The project will also introduce industry-leading equipment and technologies in terms of energy management, intelligent integration, logistics and automated warehousing, so as to build a green, digital, intelligent beer factory and accelerate the development of new productive force.
