During the 30th anniversary of TK Elevator held on January 10, Jürgen Böhler, CEO BU Asia Pacific and CEO China of TK Elevator, recalled the company's development and his career in China and praised Zhongshan's business environment.

Headquartered in Germany, TK Elevator is one of the giants leading the innovation and development of the global elevator industry. The history of its predecessor, Thyssenkrupp Elevator, can date back to more than two hundred years ago.

In 1995, TK Elevator entered China market and set up a factory in Zhongshan. After 30 years of rapid development, the company now has over 10,000 employees and has developed a strategic framework of three production bases and an operation network covering the whole country.

Over the past 30 years, innovation has always been engraved in the soul of TK Elevator, who has provided solutions for metro systems in 33 cities, airports in 51 cities and high-speed railway stations in 120 cities in China.

In recent years, TK Elevator has built its highest elevator test tower and its largest escalator manufacturing base in the world in Zhongshan. The company has also settled its world's largest R&D center in China.
