The 2025 China Convention and Exhibition City Industrial Cooperation Conference was recently held in Chengdu, during which the 2025 report on Chinese cities' convention and exhibition industry competitiveness index was released. Zhongshan once again won the title of "China's Most Competitive Convention and Exhibition City".

In the convention and exhibition industry competitiveness index ranking, the top ten prefecture-level cities include Suzhou, Foshan, Wuxi, Dongguan, Zhuhai, Changzhou, Shaoxing, Zhongshan, Linyi and Quanzhou.

Zhongshan has been leveraging its convention and exhibition resources to boost the development of industries, focusing on key clusters such as Guzhen's lighting and Nantou and Dongfeng's home appliances. Using exhibitions as a vital bridge, Zhongshan efficiently attracts high-quality external resources, aligns industry supply and demand, and continues to strengthen and expand its local specialty industrial clusters.
