Zhongshan hosted an investment promotion fair for Wuguishan-area agriculture, culture and tourism projects on December 18, drawing 130 firms from across the country.

The event unveiled 112 premium projects across 23 citywide, showcasing Zhongshan's upgraded rural sector through integrated value-chain planning and differentiated positioning.

On-site signings included 19 projects totaling 2.842 billion yuan, spanning rural tourism, industrial park construction and modern agriculture. 

One of the newly signed, the Lingnan Waterside Eco-Tourism Area (Phase I), a 960-million-yuan project in Minzhong Subdistrict, Torch High-tech Zone, will develop a destination combining regimen, accommodation, family recreation and more, with construction now underway.

Year-to-date, the city has inked 72 agriculture, culture, tourism projects, worth over 13 billion yuan.
