In 2025, Zhongshan's Nantou Town accelerated industrial park redevelopment, demolishing nearly 360 mu (24 hectares) across 15 projects while putting 16 new facilities into operation.

To date, 58 industrial park redevelopment projects have delivered over 1.8 million square meters of premium factory space, achieving 92.3% occupancy for self-use and leased premises.

The upgraded facilities have generally integrated green technologies such as photovoltaic power generation and sponge city systems to enhance tenant appeal. Over 100 enterprises in home appliances, hardware and mold-making have relocated to Nantou through the program, with average rents rising 65%.
