The 2026 Overseas Chinese Investment Conference and the 13th Top Talent Networking Zhongshan opened at Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort on March 30.

Over 150 overseas Chinese delegates from more than 20 countries and regions worldwide, alongside renowned entrepreneurs and top professionals, gathered in Zhongshan to discuss cooperation and development.

One of the highlights was the appointment ceremony for Zhongshan's global talent recruitment consultants and distinguished talents. New consultants from home and abroad received letters of appointment, while top professionals joined as Distinguished Talents of Zhongshan.

The debut of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan intercity bus monthly pass for industry talents drew attention. Recognized industry talents in Zhongshan can enjoy 50% discounts with 16 rides per month on cross-city routes T01A, T01B and T01B Torch Line.

Cuiheng Group launched a "Global Dreamers" recruitment program via its Zhongshan Cuihu Fund, creating a platform for global innovators and entrepreneurs from around the world.

The 400-million-yuan fund targets high-level talent projects with core competitiveness in such emerging sectors as healthcare and medicine, new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing and next-gen information technology.

A ceremony was held to unveil 6 new China (Zhongshan) Premium Goods Exhibition & Trade Centers in Lagos (Nigeria), Oslo (Norway), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Bangkok (Thailand), Lima (Peru) and Perth (Australia), promoting "Made in Zhongshan" to more global and showcasing the city's smart manufacturing prowess.

At the opening ceremony, 46 projects were inked, spanning sectors like talent training, healthcare, biomedicine, AI and advanced manufacturing. Afternoon sessions included AI enterprise matchmaking and biopharma investment promotion.
