The alluvial plain surrounding the former National Highway 105 Shenwan Toll Station in Zhongshan's Banfu Town has transformed into the Diandian Technology Innovation City, a 20-hectare common environmental industrial park.

Since the beginning of 2026, this high-end industrial park, focused on emerging industries, has been advancing smoothly. The phase-one project has just completed delivery, with the site now bustling with equipment installation, company relocation and client negotiation activities.

Diandian Technology Innovation City has pioneered an "online-offline dual portal" service system, featuring flexible customized production spaces, vertical freight elevators, excellent facilities for room and board and other support services.

"Single firms face limited annual output, making large orders hard to secure," said Shi Junkai, vice president of Diandian Technology Innovation City. To solve this, the park is piloting a "super factory" clustering model.

"Through integrating production capacity and coordinating manufacturing, we hope to achieve resource sharing among companies and boost their overall order capacity and market influence," said Shi, adding that this "super factory" model will help smart manufacturing products reach global markets while enabling global buyers to find optimal solutions in one stop.

Currently, Diandian Technology Innovation City has attracted firms in high-end equipment, new materials, new energy and carbon-based composite materials, and provides support to emerging sectors such as low-altitude economy and new energy vehicles. Upon full completion, the project is expected to generate over 5 billion yuan in annual output.
