A 5.6-hectare industrial land plot in eastern Cuiheng New District in Zhongshan was recently acquired by Hezhen Smart Innovation, a subsidiary of Hongrita Group. This marks a key step in building the district into a low-altitude economy hub within the Greater Bay Area.

The land plot will serve as the core site for the Guangdong-Hong Kong Hezhen Smart Innovation Sci-tech Park, with a planned floor area of 279,900 square meters.

As Hongrita's third major investment in Cuiheng New District, the 2.836-billion-yuan project will create a modern industrial park integrating headquarters operations, smart manufacturing, R&D and innovation, and industry clustering.

The park will house drone and low-altitude component production bases with automated precision mold and component lines and core assembly units. It focuses on the production of upstream and downstream products, such as UAV components, while building R&D, testing and warehousing facilities.

Hongrita Group is a Hong Kong-funded enterprise founded in 1988. It established presence in Cuiheng New District in 2014.
