Jinan University (JNU) held the 120‑day countdown ceremony to its 120th anniversary on July 19 in Guangzhou. 

Zhongshan‑based company Taili Technology donated 15 million yuan to the university, which will be used for scientific research and breakthroughs and talent development of the JNU Institute of Nanotechnology and Intelligence.

The funds will primarily upgrade the hardware of the nanomaterials research platform, improve support for frontier projects, and construct an interdisciplinary talent training system, further bridging the gap between laboratories and production lines.
