The Zhongshan Culture & Art Center was alive with music on the evening of August 11, as the 19th China Chorus Association Choir Festival entered its fourth performance day.

Fifteen choirs from across the country performed 30 pieces, ranging from classical art songs and folk music to pop arrangements and a cappella, offering the audience an audio-visual feast.

Among the performers, an international student choir composed of students from multiple countries drew particular attention with heartfelt renditions of "Getting Wish" and "Someone You Loved."

Polina, a Russian member of the "Hey" International Students Choir of Shanghai University, said the ensemble brings together students from Russia, Morocco and other countries. "Music is a universal language that unites everyone. When we sing together, we share the same emotions."
