Four major projects in Zhongshan's Cuiheng New District, covering the digital economy, clean energy, new-type energy storage and ecological remediation, recently broke ground, with total investment exceeding 2.2 billion yuan.

The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Digital Economy Industrial Park has a floor area of more than 220,000 square meters, comprising a headquarters building, three R&D bases and supporting facilities. Focusing mainly on data element services and the internet industry, the park is planned as a digital industry complex that integrates technology development, business incubation, and research result commercialization.

The Zhongshan Clean Energy International Innovation Valley has a floor area of nearly 120,000 square meters. It will focus on attracting core enterprises and supporting projects along the clean energy value chain, aiming to build an industrial base with distinctive features and leading technologies.

Phases 2 & 3 of the Cuiheng New District 300MW/600MWh Energy Storage Station will be built as a regional integrated energy service center and demonstration base. Upon completion, it will significantly improve the peak load and frequency regulation capabilities of the district's power grid.

The Hengmen Quarry remediation project on Ma'an Island will carry out ecological restoration and functional renewal of legacy mine lands, with up to 60,000 square meters of slopes to be revegetated.
