According to a report from the Zhongshan Civil Affairs Bureau, a total of 700,000 people visited 16 tomb-sweeping sites across the city to worship their ancestors during the Tomb-Sweeping holiday from April 5 to April 7. No emergencies, liability accidents and effective complaints had been reported in three days.

In recent years, residents have developed the custom of avoiding peak worshiping time. The Zhongshan Civil Affairs Bureau estimates that tomb-sweeping peaks will appear in the upcoming weekends this month.
