The Nanlang Family Tradition & Instruction Pavilion was unveiled on July 7 at Chen's Ancestral Temple. It is the first exhibition hall built in an ancestral temple in Zhongshan featuring family traditions and instructions.

Many patriotic home letters from Xiangshan ancient sages and Nanlang local celebrities are displayed at the pavilion. One can find many items showcasing civil family traditions and instructions such as family pedigrees, plaques, couplets and other daily items.

Gao Canxiong, Chairman of Nanlang Peoples' Congress, said that Nanlang Town attaches great importance to the construction of the Family Tradition & Instruction Pavilion. It therefore includes it into the Top 10 Livelihood Projects. The pavilion is of great significance in promoting Chinese traditional culture and establishing healthy social atmosphere.

During summer vacation, the Nanlang Town Women's Federation and the Lanbian Village Women's Federation will organize a series of family tradition activities at the pavilion, including lessons on Chinese ancient civilization, parent-child research and study, soft pottery class, and etc.
