Rowing competition is a traditional sports event in Sanjiao Town, with a history of more than 100 years. On May 16, the Sanjiao Rowing Association was formally established, and the vast number of rowing enthusiasts finally had their own club.

In recent years, every village in Sanjiao Town has held different types of competitions every year such as single competition, three-person canoe competition and five-person canoe competition. The town's rowing team also went to Foshan, Jiangmen and other places to take part in dragon boat races. Several professional farmers' rowing boat teams also take part in the races all over the country.

President Li Jianqiu said that forming the Sanjiao Rowing Association will help rowing sports gain popularity in villages, schools and enterprises in a more diversified way and attract more rowing sports enthusiasts to join the association, so as to enhance the influence and motivation of the association, carrying forward this century-old traditional culture.
