The 2025 Guzhen 13-player Dragon Boat Race will take place on May 31 (Dragon Boat Festival) on the Guzhen Zhongxin River. With a 31-kilometer course, the event is described as a "marathon on water".

The history of the Guzhen 13-player Dragon Boat Race can be traced back over 100 years. At that time, this event was particularly popular in the Caobu area of Guzhen, and it was held annually during the Dragon Boat Festival.

This traditional cultural and sports event was suspended for 40 years due to various reasons. Last year, Guzhen resurrected the event on the Dragon Boat Festival, which was warmly welcomed by local people.
