The "2019 Famous Chefs, Ingredients, Dishes, Banquets and Restaurants" selection, part of the "Cantonese Cuisine Chef" Project, was launched at the Golden Diamond Hotel in Zhongshan on October 28. It marked the start of the annual "Top 10 Cantonese Cuisine Chefs" and other 4 selection activities.
The event involved five selection activities, including three permanent activities ("Top 10 Cantonese Cuisine Chefs", "Top 10 Dishes", "Top 20 Restaurants") and two special activities ("Top 10 Food Ingredients" and "Top 10 Banquets").
The organizing committee plans to hold an award ceremony on the opening day of the Xiaolan Chrysanthemum Fair in late November to award prizes and plaques to the winners and to display the award-winning delicacies and brands at the fair.
