With the theme of "Pineapple Style & Sweet Summer", the Second Shenwan Pineapple Cultural Tourism Week 2022 kicked off in Shenwan Central Square on July 28.

The 5-day event will include such activities as photography contest, food carnival, performance show, camping and music festival and consumption promotion campaign.

At the opening ceremony, the Shenwan Town government announced the Shenwan Pineapple Quality Classification Standards and presented licenses to franchised dealers. Shenwan Ziyou Farm, Yaji Mountain Forest Park, Zhupai Wetland Park among others that were included in the second Guangdong Rural Tourism Quality Organizations, as well as Guangye Longcheng Environmental Company Limited, a company that was identified as a new-type tourism project, were awarded special support funds.

The "Pineapples of the World" food carnival was held at the event, with about 50 stalls set up to provide tourists with Shenwan local delicacies.
