Best season to savor Xiaolan edible chrysanthemums

Every November marks golden season for savoring Xiaolan edible chrysanthemums. On November 22, the Xiangshan Chrysanthemum Banquet drew nearly 300 enthusiasts to Xiangshanli Restaurant to relish this seasonal delicacy.

As a highlight activity of Zhongshan's year-end consumption campaign, the 2025 Xiaolan Chrysanthemum Fair will kick off later this month, aligning with peak sales for locally grown edible chrysanthemums.

According to Ou Juanhua, head ot Guangdong Tangxinju Modern Agricultural Technology Co, the company and partner farmers have cultivated about 20 hectares of edible chrysanthemums. Now in peak season, the planting base ships some 5,000 blooms daily, up 30% year-on-year.
