As the Dragon Boat Festival nears, workers at Zhongshan Rongfulong Food Co are busy making zongzi (sticky rice dumplings with various fillings wrapped in leaves) to fulfill orders. Carrying the flavor of traditional Chinese culture, they are ready for shipment to consumers in Macao.
"During peak production season, we turn out about 10,000 zongzi daily for markets at home and abroad," said He Weifeng, general manager of Rongfulong, noting that the company has been deepening its presence in Macao in recent years, where its products have won strong consumer favor.

As of June 15, Zhongshan Customs had overseen the export of 3.4 tonnes of zongzi, worth 206,700 yuan, to Macao.
