Recently, the 7th "Chinese Top100 Secondary school" was announced at Beijing. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Secondary School was included in the Top100 list for the fourth time.

Five schools in Guangdong province were selected. The other four included The Affiliated High School of South China Normal University, Guangdong Experimental Middle School, Guangdong Zhongyuan High School and Shenzhen Foreign Languages School.

Sun Yat-sen Memorial Secondary School was founded in 1934. The vice President of the school Xiang Qin says that the school’s selected for four consecutive years represents the the social masses’ recognition towards the teaching philosophy and the educational achievements of the school. "It's a gift that encourages us to keep on moving."
