Shenwan pineapples.[File photo]

The 18th China Green Food Expo (CGFE) was held in Baotou, Inner Mongolia from August 18th-21st. Shenwan pineapples grown by Shenwan Free Travel Farm Company from Zhongshan were warmly welcomed and awarded Gold Medal of CGFE. 

Chen Qianwen, who's in charge of the company, attributes this award to the good quality of their pineapples. “We tasted other varieties of pineapples, and found Shenwan pineapples we produced are sweeter and more scented.” Ms Chen believes the gold award can increase the popularity and expand the market for Shenwan pineapples.
